"Passaic Meadows" by Mary Nimmo Moran, Scottish Amer., (1842-1899)

Etching with Aquatint, 1881, New York Etching Club Annual 1889, 5-1/4 x 7-1/4, on cream laid paper, a little soil and creasing at margin edges, signed in the plate. A beautifully wiped impression with veils of tone in the sky and foreground heightening contrast of the light reflected in the pond and on the horizon. Not so commonly seen.
