"Wind and Rain" by Adolphe Wulser, Amer., (1900-1984)
Drypoint, 1930's-40's, ed. unknown but probably small, 8 x 10-1/8, signed & titled in pencil, old hinges at top, small stain in left bottom margin, faint mat line from previous mount. A strong rural landscape by this little known New York and Connecticut artist who immigrated to New York in 1927, becomming known as a painter and printmaker. He settled in the New Haven area, and a small group of prints I acquired years ago included etchings, aquatints and drypoints of both urban New York and rural Connecticut. His prints are not very commonly encountered today.
