"Parlor Organ" by Edith Newton
Lithograph, 1936, A.A.G. ed. stated as "not more than 200", but more likely around 100, 8-1/2 x 10-3/4, signed & dated in pencil, dedicated lower left in ink, "To Mr. & Mrs. William H. Percy on their 50th Wedding Anniversary", barely noticable stain at image edge left center & top left, printed on cream wove paper. This lithographt is one of several Newton made showing the interior of her New Milford, Connecticut home; today owned intact with the furnishings by the New Milford Historical Society, and open to the public. A visit to her home is to walk straight into her prints; a fascinating experience.
