Regular price
$750
Etching, Drypoint & Roulette, 1925, C.23, ed. of 50, 10-7/16 x 8-7/8, signed & titled and numbered 20 in pencil, on chine colle affixed to a thick buff wove support sheet, slight rubbing at top margin edge, substantial mat line from previous mat, the image richly inked, one small very light scuff in image upper left, invisible except in raking light. This is an honest and candid self portrait of the artist, showing his lack of pretension and legendary zest for life. Hart traveled the world while painting & drawing, and was a dedicated and inventive printmaker. This is one of his most widely reproduced prints.
