"Head of a Child" by Leonor Fini, Argentinian, (1907-1996)

Color Lithograph, ca. 1960's-70's, ed. unknown, a working proof, 17-1/4 x 12, unsigned, but inscribed "epreuve d'essai." lower left, and with extensive notes on changes to the image by Fini in pencil at top verso. Tack holes to all corners, vertical cropping fold at right image edge and two short repaired edge tears at lower left margin edge. A rare working proof of a haunting image with notes in the artist's hand. From the estate of Sylan Cole.
