Etching, 1879, as published in American Art Review,  plate 8-5/8 x 5-7/8, image 6-7/8 x 4-7/8, diagonal crease to lower left margin corner, pale fox mark below signature l. r., on cream laid paper with large margins. One of Gifford's most fascinating prints for it's bucholic but un-romanticized depiction of American maritime industry in the second decade following the Civil War.
