Mina Citron, Amer., (1896-1992), Harlem River Freight

Regular price $950
Lithograph, 1941, Ed. 30, 11-3/4 x 15-3/4, signed, dated and numbered in pencil, an edge tear to the right margin, and small hole with glue residue to the top right corner, the top left margin corner with uneven edge, but all margins substantial and original, on cream wove paper. A beautifully rendered industrial image in a small edition by Citron, well printed, showing a procession of river boats hauling freight around a densely wooded bend in the Harlem River, with factories spewing smoke from tall smoke stacks in the distance; a match for the twin plumes of smoke issuing from the  stacks of the lead boat pushing two barges loaded and covered with tarps.
