Monotype, 1993, 5-3/8 x 6-3/4, signed in pencil, on a cool cream wove paper, 7-1/2 x 11-1/4. The scene is in Frederick County, Maryland. Jack Boul is a Washington DC area artist and longtime teacher who's fine monotypes and paintings were the subject of a retrospective in 2000 curated by Dr. Eric Denker, at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, titled "Intimate Impressions: Monotypes and Paintings by Jack Boul". We are pleased to present for the first time this trio of his monotypes online at the West Coast Print Fair. Jack Boul's monotypes, paintings and sculptures are in held collections of The Corcoran , National Gallery of Art , Stanford University, Phillips Collection, San Francisco Museum of Art Legion of Honor, and the Met.
