"Look-Out" by Helen Siegl, Austrian-Amer., (1924-2009)

Color Woodcut, 1972, Ed. 50, 11-1/16 x 8, signed & titled in pencil, on thin cream wove simili vellum paper, toned within mat opening. The first print I ever purchased was "Father Earth" by Helen Siegl, and it still hangs on my wall over 40 years later. Her work reflects her own life raising eight children, and her deep interest in art, religion, mythology and folklore.
